Weather is certainly Tenerife's best attraction! Beautiful climate all year around and high temperatures are for many the
main reasons why they come for holidays to Tenerife or even decide to permanently move here. So, what can be said about such a unique weather? With the West African coast with its dry and hot weather, just a few kilometres away, even though this is the case Tenerife as do the rest of the Canary islands in Spain experience a 'Spring like'. The first thing you should know about the Tenerife weather is that it does changes considerably depending on your location on the Island.
Tenerife South is generally warmer and drier than the North.
Puerto de la Cruz is at the North of the Tenerife the weather and climate is much cooler but a lot more lush green vegetation, but if you are planning on visiting the North and when visiting Mount Tiede take a wind jacket with you in case of rain! Because of the vegetation in the North and equilibrated weather Tenerife is known as 'Island of Eternal Spring'!! Although do remember it is still warmer and sunnier than alot of European countries
